Ms. Roberson focuses her energies in the areas of family law and estate planning with an emphasis on child abuse cases involving families and Child Protective Services. At the San Antonio Community Law Center, she represented clients in every aspect of family law, including divorce, child support and child custody cases. Additionally, she worked on complex probate matters. Ms. Roberson then used her talents to open her own law practice, The Law Office of Jaclyn Y. Roberson, PLLC, in March 2006. Here, she expanded her family law practice to include adoptions and a multi-county child abuse docket, representing children and parents in child abuse cases. Ms. Roberson also incorporated estate planning into her practice and began serving as an ad litem attorney in guardianship cases and cases involving unknown heirs. In February 2008, Ms. Roberson took a sabbatical from her law practice to represent the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in child abuse and neglect cases. Now Ms. Roberson has returned with a rich and diverse perspective on the needs of families throughout the state.
